Autoctona jewel

Autoctona 2011 Collection

Autoctona might mean native, but the jewelry line by the same name combines Alessandra Murgia’s Italian origins with her international design experience.  Drawing inspiration from primitive forms of adornment, such as amulets and tokens Alessandra has created a singular aesthetic that celebrates the artisanal tradition.

Each piece, including the metal components, is handcrafted using sustainable and local materials.  The line’s attention to details, such as the logo engraved on the back of each piece, extends even to the packaging – boxes made from reclaimed wood.
