Guys, how r u? I am an Italian guy living in Hollywood, California, thanks to a student exchange program with the ITALO AMERICANO magazine. I heard about Ganzo from Roberto Croci, who is the only one in the world to have published (in XL Repubblica) a song by song list-lyrics of I am With You, the new album by my favorite, absolutely favorite, #1 BAND IN THE WORLD: The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Nice to meet you… Why Am I writing this post?? well…simple… because I want to tell all my friends of www.Venicequeen.it (RHCP fans) that sunday night one of my biggest f****** dreams came true.
Location: the famous rock & roll club, The Troubadour, on Santa Monica Blvd.
YES I DID IT, I MET THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS…

The Troubadour was founded in 1957 by Doug Weston. It was a major center for folk music in the 1960s, and subsequently for singer-songwriters and rock.
But let’s start from the beginning…
Sunday 2 P.M.: I was lying on my sofa with my laptop on my legs… reading some some web forums where they were talking about another RHCP secret show in LA, after the rooftop preformance in Venice Beach the previous day… yeah but, you know, rumors are just rumors… can’t count on them 100%…
So, I thought to myself:“Do I have something important to do tonight? No I don’t… so…why not…”
Taxi?!? Thank you…Troubadour Club, Santa Monica Blvd, please…
A little later I found myself outside THE PLACE, where dozen of people were already in line to get in…
“Sorry man, I heard about a RHCP secret show in here tonight…can you confirm that?”
“Yes…” He just said “yes,” that’s it… ok good, GREAT… but the man forgot to tell me something really important… What? That’s a private show, I should have been on the list…What kind of list?!? I’ve never attended a secret show, I don’t know how it works… Ok, so, what can I do right now? Try to bribe the security? Oh yes I did, with ZERO results…
For a moment I was forgetting one really important thing: With me… NATALIA, a cute female friend, who also is a RHCP fan too… and… to get straight to the point… girls always know what to do… She talked just a little bit with the owner outside the building, and finally we did it…
CUTE GIRL Natalia…GREAT GIRL Nataila. We are in.
The concert had already begun… I’ve never seen the Peppers playing in a club, never… so particular, so strange, so special… SO ROOOCK!!! YEAH THEY’RE RED HOT!!! Always powerful punk’n’funk’n’rock like old times… Some new album songs (including the new single “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.” Amazing!), some hits (“By the Way,” “Universally Speaking,” “Give it Away”) and some gorgeous old, not so famous songs (“Sir Psycho Sexy” from the BSSM album)… when they started playing it, my legs were shaking, seriously…
Anthony was the usual brave and unleashed frontman, Chad was the same beast that eats up drums for breakfast, Flea laid down the law with the bass, and new addition Josh Klinghoffer was a pleasant surprise… also a cool guy with Frusciante-like movements, and great harmony on stage with the others.
The show is over… but I have a good feeling, I don’t want to leave now…can’t leave now
“Wait – thinkin’ to myself – wait just few minutes”… and then it happened… I saw them appearing all of a sudden in the bar area ..so I took my chances and I kidnapped them… kind of…my musicians, my idols, my freaky guys… all kidnapped & captured in 4 marvelous pictures…
Yeah…it happened, yeah THAT happened…
CIAO TO ALL THE RHCP FAN.

Thank you for sharing your “nothing short of euphoric” evening. Ive got chills all over from living vicariously through you!!!!! There are few words, if any, that could properly describe how you must’ve felt as that dream (one i share with you) progressively became a reality….a reality you probably never anticipated!!!!
How F-ing Awesome!!!
