The Ermenegildo Zegna Group participates in each phase of the project’s conception and in the realization of single initiatives that seek to the objective of creating a meeting point between the company and international art culture. The works fall into one of three categories, each of which has a specific mission and curatorial framework: Public, Art in Global Stores and Special Project.
The first ZegnArt Special Project is Lucy and Jorge Orta’s “Fabulae Romanae.”
“Fabulae Romanae” is a symbolic excursus that traces the artists’ key themes starting with Refuge Wear, “a nomadic form of shelter, a small portable habitat, which combines in a single conceptual solution the physical, social, and symbolic functions of architecture and clothing” (Maria Luisa Frisa).
