Created by Ermenegildo Zegna’s Italian fashion group ZegnArt collaborates with curators, cultural instituions and organizations all over the world to promote international contemporary visual arts projects.

The Ermenegildo Zegna Group participates in each phase of the project’s conception and in the realization of single initiatives that seek to the objective of creating a meeting point between the company and international art culture. The works fall into one of three categories, each of which has a specific mission and curatorial framework: Public, Art in Global Stores and Special Project.

The first ZegnArt Special Project is Lucy and Jorge Orta’s “Fabulae Romanae.”

“Fabulae Romanae” is a symbolic excursus that traces the artists’ key themes starting with Refuge Wear, “a nomadic form of shelter, a small portable habitat, which combines in a single conceptual solution the physical, social, and symbolic functions of architecture and clothing” (Maria Luisa Frisa).
