The Ruskii lamps might make you think of St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, but this international project comes from the mind of Italian designer Enrico Zanolla, not the snowy steppes of Russia.
Produced by the Toronto-based design house Viso, the elegant and modern twist shape of the Ruskii debuted at the 2012 Frankfurt Light+Building show. The pendant lamps are composed of ceramic and hand-glazed in silver, gold, white or black. Suspended in your home, the lamps have a solid shape, but include a dynamic twist that mimics the flickering form of a candle flame.
