Street Style: Barcelona Edition
Style Pupa is in Barcelona! Yes, finally spending quality time with my family.
Today I took a stroll in the El Born neighborhood of Barcelona. Serpentine streets and medieval structures surrounded me and gave a real cool twist to all the modern bars and stores in this hip neigborhood.
The first man I noticed was this very stylish guy, I´m not sure if it’s his blue blazer or straw hat, perhaps just his swagger as he walks towards Carrer del Mirallers.
Plants and flowers fill the balconies as far as your eyes can see. The people who live here are probably resting, either in their homes or in these pictoresque squares.
I was heading to the post office to ship something to the U.S. when I bumped into this guy. Great jeans, but what I really admire is the vest. It can make a whole outfit.
You can’t ignore the interesting beauty of some of these gypsies begging on the cathedral steps, with their signature piece..a long skirt.
This girl walking by, had the most interesting jacket by Lourdes Bergada.
Two girls knew exactly what I was talking about when I asked them to pose for my blog.
More people caught my eye. Barcelona street wear is comfortable, colorful, bohemian and exotic here in El Born. Flat shoes rule, groomed dreadlocks are all over..and mainly, people don’t seem to be too concerned about brands. They wear what looks stylish and keep it real.
