If you’ve been upset over the lack of hip and ironic graphic sweatshirts this summer, a new collaboration has arrived just in time to save the season. Created by Maurizio Cattelan, Italian celebrity artist and co-founder of Toilet Paper art magazine, and Massimo Giorgetti, the designer of young Italian brand MSGM, the limited edition capsule collection of sweatshirts features surreal imagery on a vibrant background that offers an irreverent pop vibe.
Granted access to Toilet Paper’s extensive archive, Giorgetti chose 10 images that he combined with bright colors to create striking unisex statement pieces. Made from 100% cotton in Italy, the sweatshirts have the same cool tongue-in-cheek sensibility of their creators. Available at limited number of select retailers (they’ve already started to sell out) these are sure to be cult collectibles, so pre-ordering when possible is a must!
