Marcelo Burlon is one of the fashion world’s many eclectic characters whose career can’t be limited to just one title: Italian photographer, film-maker, art director, stylist, blogger, dj, event organizer and much more. His life story is just as interesting as his work since not many people can say they moved from Patagonia to Milan at age 14.
In collaboration with Giorgio di Salvo, Burlon has added another title to his list of accomplishments with his first T-shirt collection. Characterized by psychedelic and kaleidoscopic colorful graphics, the T-shirts are inspired by his life. Patagonian birds, esoteric symbols and images from club culture are a way of expressing Burlon’s world and his belief in self-reinvention as a revolutionary tool. It’s no surprise then that he chose the unconventional model Lea T. as his muse and the face for the collection.
